If you need emergency or after-hours care, or if you cannot wait for a return call, you should take your pet to a 24-hour emergency hospital.
We recommend the following hospitals/resources for your pet's emergency care.
Poison Control Hotline
If your pet ate something potentially poisonous, time is of the essence. You can reach the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center's 24-hour hotline at 888-426-4435. The staffers at the poison control center have comprehensive information about how much is too much, and what to do about it. A consultation fee will apply. For emergency treatment you should take your pet to a 24-hour emergency hospital, listed above.
